The Syllabus
The syllabus functions as the framework for the course, communicating the skills and content needed to excel in the course. This will be our starting point.

Task One:

- Note down any questions you may have about the requirements of the course, to be discussed as a class.
- Consider the terms "text", "culture" and "value". Write down a definition for each term, based on your understanding and what you have read in the syllabus.
- Create a mind map making predictions of the types of tasks you may be doing within this course, based on your reading of the syllabus, as well as the film and article above.
